Wait a second. Where is the 2x4 work bench? Why aren’t the parts covered in dirty grease? Where are all the pebbles? Why are there clean parts on specialized racks to hold them? Why didn’t they show all the times he had wait for parts to come in the mail? I didn’t see one goddam beer can. Why isn’t he squeezed between the car the engine is supposed to be in and a wall? Is it even freezing/unbearably hot in there?
THIS DOESN’T LOOK ANYTHING LIKE ENGINE BUILDING.

You’ve got an unfair advantage. I did get to tour the engine plant where Chrysler makes Hemi’s a long time ago. That was pretty cool. Too bad that line wasn’t running at the time.

It’s a movie, therefore totally fictitious. You could tell because not once did he drop something that landed where it could never be found and swear because of it. He didn’t even smash his knuckles because the wrench slipped off a greasy bolt head that was half rounded off but he was using it anyway since the replacement bolt had fallen into the place where he could actually see it but recovering it would mean cutting massive holes in things that definitely seem like they must be structural.

It must be SO satisfying to slap that emblem on at the end of assembly... mmmm yeah.
